New Voices on Good Man Eats

Published on Sunday, November 22nd, 2009 at 2:12 pm.

Dear readers,

I am proud to say that over the last several months I have published 61 posts and the blog has just begun! I will continue to post regularly on food-related topics like cooking, meal planning, locally-sourced sustainable foods, politics, etc. In the last couple weeks though, I contacted some friends across the country, other activists and writers who share a strong passion for locally-sourced sustainable food. As much as I enjoy writing for this blog, I want to share this space with other people “in my boat.” And so, with no further ado, I introduce Doug. He will contribute once a week, writing about his experiences as a small-scale poultry farmer on the East coast.

As other friends or peers seek to publish on this blog, their voices will be heard too. Please continue to read and comment on the posts you like and dislike. It’s important to all writers and readers that a dialogue begin and contribute to the nation-wide discussion (and debate) on food politics.

Thank you for your interest in the blog and keep on reading!

Sincerely,

Good Man Eats
