Meal Planning Guide – Your’s for only $5!

Published on Tuesday, November 17th, 2009 at 7:22 am.

Okay, I know this post sounds like some cooky marketing scheme but it is not. Instead, this is an honest attempt to sell my ideas to the general public. Beyond the posts I write and the strategies I profess, this is an opportunity to start planning meals on your own.

As I have discussed before, my experiences with eating local have led me to believe that anyone can eat whole foods from local and/or organic sources. I will continue to advocate these ideals on the blog. At the same time, I want to use this post to explain this small ‘product’ I developed.

Eating organic or seasonal or local food is less about affordability and more about time – time to cook, to clean, to eat and to plan. Here is an opportunity to ease the planning portion. For (just) $5 you will receive the following documents:

  1. A complete and detailed explanation of the meal planning process
  2. A grocery list worksheet to organize your weekly meals. This list format is based on the planning process on the previous page.
  3. “Food Sources in Your Community,” an informative guide to help you find local organic and grass-fed/pasture-raised foods.

These three documents will provide a thorough foundation to your meal planning / menu writing process. If this is of interest to you, the rest is easy.

First, go to the Menu Consultation page on my blog. Second, scroll down to the bottom and click the “buy now” button. And third, follow the directions on Paypal to place your order. Once I have received your payment, I will email you the meal planning guide.

It just doesn’t get easier than this!

  1. [...] It is rather fitting that the last class will devote itself to meal planning. If people want to engage the topics of this class, they will have to continue cooking at home. Be it once a week or every day, learning about food and improving one’s kitchen skills is a long-term process. To bring a close to this 4-week course, I will introduce all the families to the concept and process of meal planning using the strategy guide I developed. [...]
